Vegan MoFo 2014: Dinner Party

DSC_0686 DSC_0688 DSC_0694This evening we had our lovely friends over for lots of catching up and some good food. Lots of food. Me and my amazing housemate made loads of yummy vegan food – we had pasta bake with courgettes, cherry tomatoes, lots of garlic and yummy herbs. Lina has an allotment and she cooked some of the  beetroot that she had grown which tasted incredible. I’ve honestly never eaten beetroot this delicious before. Vegetables are awesome aren’t they? We had garlic flatbreads, hummus, olives, tomato salad and wine. Lots of yummy vegan wine 🙂

We had some great conversations and lots of laughter whilst stuffing our bellies full of delicious food. Isn’t it great to catch up with friends you’ve not seen for a while? Just when we thought we couldn’t fit anything else in, Lina put a pot of coffee on and I brought these bad boys out;

DSC_0687 (2) DSC_0693 (2)Oh yeah baby. Homemade peanut butter cups. So simple to make. So rich, delicious and irresistible. The best part is that there are some left for tomorrow. I absolutely love having people over for dinner, it is such a great way to spend an evening.

What have you lovely people been doing tonight?

Olivia ♥

  1. This is the reason I CANNOT WAIT to finally move into the house we’re buying. To have space, a decent sized kitchen and a dining room table – and to be able to have people over for dinner. I’m going to be doing this all the time, I swear!

    Your dinner party looks lovely and the food looks delish!

  2. What a great looking spread. Your homemade PB cups look especially delicious. Last night I munched on sausage rolls whilst watching movies in the blanket fort my husband and I made – it was so cosy!
