I am a vampire

Blood Oranges Blood Orange Slice Blood OrangesUm, hello beautiful babies. Where have you been all my life?! Woweee! I was super excited to find these babies at the organic wholesalers yeaterday morning. Blood oranges. DELICIOUS, BEAUTIFUL, DELIHTFUL. What more can I say, really?

If you guys can get your paws on these I would highly recommend that you buy as many as you can – they really are to die for. I am writing this currently chowing down on this bowl of 12 oranges (I ate some before I took the picture!). They are so sweet and wow I just cannot stop looking at them. I might even go as far as to say that I prefer blood oranges to clementines, it is a pretty close call though. A 10kg box of these organic babies costs Β£18.50 so they are pretty good value.

In other news, I now have a fellow fruit and veggie lover in my life : meet Barry β™₯

TortoiseI moved house at the weekend so I am now living with this little guy! He loves lettuce as much as I do. I think I might make him a teeny tortoise sized bowl of zucchini pasta later! Hehe.

I have also thought up a new banana storage solution, since I now have housemates to consider it is not really fair to be spreading my banana madness all over the house! This is the solution I have come up with. For this project, you will need one shoe rack and one box of amazing organic bananas…

BananasIf you place your new ‘banana rack’ near a radiator it should also solve any winter banana ripening issues πŸ˜€

Well I must dash, these oranges are not going to eat themselves.

I hope you are all happy and healthy.
